What’s happening in the BAS world?

    • The IP revolution: More and more building automation companies are embracing all IP environments. We will explore several of the reasons why.
    • Security: We live in a world where we hear about bots, hacks and phishing on a daily basis. While not an overly attractive target BAS systems do need to be protected. We will talk about how the industry is doing that.
    • IOT is becoming more than the buzzword it was just a few years ago. We will talk about Docker, Node-RED and MQTT which is allowing much greater connectivity.
    • Automated Cx: Commissioning in the BAS industry has always been contentious. We will dive into what it is and why you should seriously consider embracing it.

Speaker: Ken Nekvasil MBA, General Manager for Energy Services of Colorado, has been in the HVAC industry for over 38 years. He has extensive experience in building automation controls ranging from operations, engineering, sales and management. He also has extensive experience with the integration of many low voltage building systems including the rapidly expanding IOT segment.
